A car that lasts forever deserves drivers who live forever.
For over 40 years, the G-Class has passed the test of time. It is not without reason that around 80% of all G-Classes ever built are still on the roads. The campaign “Immortal G-Class” sets a monument to this unique longevity.
This is a journey into a fantastic universe of immortal beings: the world of vampires. Supernatural powers meet supernatural power.
A love that lasts forever.
At the heart of the campaign: a modern interpretation of the classic Romeo and Juliet story. Globally acclaimed superstar rapper Young Jewell leads a double life. On the one hand: Nathan – young, naive and hopelessly in love with her. On the other hand: glamour, excess and her mysterious followers. The eccentric and conspiratorial entourage is thirsty for the high life – and more.
"Immortal Love" is an eight-minute film epic about acceptance, diversity, the conflict of two worlds that could not be more different and a secret love that overcomes these trenches — a topic as relevant as ever, released on the day of love – Valentine's Day.
Larger than life.
The campaign is not only starring vampires from all eras but also all kinds of G-Classes of the last 40 years – a unique line-up that unites all ages. From an original G-Class from 1980, a ’89 convertible, a 500 GE from 1993 to more recent models like the ultra-luxurious Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet, the off-road freak G500 4x4², a G63 AMG and a look into the future with the Concept EQG.
Style is temporary. Class is immortal.
Alongside the moving image production, we shot a wide range of stills and social media formats showing four decades of G-Class together with their immortal drivers.
Vampires are social creatures.
More than a dozen clips extended the campaign „Immortal Love“ across all social media channels. From interactive quizzes over humorous vampire shorts to a vampire’s guide to car care.
